The soothing effect of the salt is supported by calming light and sound effects, which have a positive effect on the body and mind. Over 20 tons of Himalayan salt, brine springs and salt pans release valuable minerals and trace elements into the air. Crystal salt ionizers ensure pure, salty air and the salt grotto has a microclimate that is otherwise only found by the sea or in natural salt healing tunnels, while a special climate and ventilation system ensures a pleasant room temperature of 18°C with optimum humidity.
The special effect of salt has been known for centuries. We have recreated this special microclimate for you. Inhale clean air containing valuable minerals such as magnesium, iron, calcium, selenium, iodine and zinc with every breath. The concentration of these effective molecules is even higher in the grotto than by the sea. In this way, allergies, respiratory diseases, skin problems and much more are combated, the skin is cleansed and revitalized and the salty air has an anti-inflammatory and disinfectant effect.
Regular visits to the salt cave can have a positive effect on the immune system. This reduces the risk of flu-like infections and allergies.

Why additional brine nebulization in the salt cave?
The sea is the natural inhalation room. The sea air is low in allergens and the sea spray is also a natural nebulizer. The salty aerosols are automatically inhaled during a walk near the sea spray. In this way, salt and air work together as natural therapeutic agents.
This is exactly reproduced here in our Lindenhof salt grotto during the nebulization process. Our grandmothers already knew this: Salt inhalations help with respiratory diseases. However, it is not enough to simply tip salt into hot water; the salt solution must be nebulized.
The smaller the dissolved salt particles are, the better they can be transported into the deeper layers of the lungs. The increased salt concentration produces more fluid in the alveoli and loosens the mucus. Good healing results have already been described for asthma and bronchitis.
Intensive nebulization with ultrasonic nebulizer
The ultrasonic nebulizer atomizes the brine into tiny aerosol particles. The result is a fine, dry and sustainable mist, which is fed into the salt cave through a filtered air stream.
In contrast to conventional inhalation techniques, this brine mist is not only absorbed through the lungs, but also through the skin – our largest respiratory organ – and therefore through the whole body, thanks to the nebulization of an entire room.
The sodium chloride penetrates the skin, where it is deposited and stimulates the skin’s metabolism. Brine has an anti-inflammatory effect and increases the skin’s sensitivity to ultraviolet rays. Studies have shown that this can improve the success of treatment for psoriasis or neurodermatitis, for example.
